Photographs

Postures (1992)
A series comprised of superimposed negatives in which the body acts as a mental landscape. Images that capture the changes wrought by the passage of time and the wounds it inflicts. The photos were conceived as a continuous story: the feminine body as a metaphor of mental life in physical fullness. The idea of what is offered, what is protected.

Liquid Garden (Two souls) (1994)
Series of photographs that stem from personal experience. A reflection on the need to project oneself on the other, on the spiral between the self and other. A spiral that begins with a feminine figure, turns in on itself and, for an instant, divides into the masculine.

DNR Two Red Oranges (1994)
Series of 7 large-scale paintings and photographs on synthetic fibre. The series reflects on maternity. The computer-processed photographs are placed sequentially and fragmentarily – seven large images like seven pages. 1. A landscape inhabited by the mist and a lone tree. 2. A horse wanders at night where the sea meets the land. 3. A girl pushes a huge orange. 4. A large red planet appears in the middle of a calm sea. 5. Hada with her mother in a stream, shrouded in the aura of her contingency. 6. A man dissolving into the sea. 7. A human being trapped in an incandescent circle.
